A contemplative opportunity to explore the scientific theories of evolution and ecology as a spiritual practice in a Christian framework. Together, over the course of the afternoon, we will pray with phylogenetic trees, meditate with microscopic organisms, and reflect on the relationships that connect us to all living things and, ultimately, to God our Creator. We will enter into a beautiful Taize-style sung prayer time for the closing half hour. The retreat is led by the Reverend Cameron Gutjahr, priest at St John the Divine Anglican Church in beautiful Squamish BC with Rev. David Taylor from St. Dunstan’s parish.
