Newsletter: Thanks to our Office Volunteers!

Hello Friends!

This week I would like to say a special thank you to all the office volunteers who are ensuring that things run smoothly for us in the congregation. Heather Allan, Paulene and Janet have been working in the office for years now, but have all taken on some new responsibilities in the last little while. And we’ve had some new volunteers in the office. Heather Clarke, Ellen, Rosemary and Gerdina have all spent some time here in the last couple of weeks, working on the bulletin & Power Point, sorting out choir music, and doing various us tidy-up jobs. And, of course, our wardens, Stuart and Cathy have been working extra hard as we continue to move through staff transitions and plan for the Annual Vestry meeting. So if you see any of these people, give them a handshake or a hug and say thanks!

Speaking of the Annual Vestry meeting, it will take place after the 10am Sunday service on February 26th. We’ll call the meeting to order at 11:30am. You are invited to come and celebrate our successes and plan for our future! There will be food, and a Zoom option available for those who can’t come in to the church.. Click the button below for more information. Keep your eyes open this week and next, as we will begin to share the various reports for you to read before the meeting.

In preparation for the Vestry meeting, I am asking you to watch three movie clips and wonder about a series of questions. The questions for each clip are as follows:

  1. What is happening in this clip?

  2. Where is God in this clip?

  3. What message does this clip have for St Andrew’s as we look to future ministry?

The three clips are as follows:

As always, I look forward to hearing from you.

With love,

Andrew
