Other News from Synod Office…
PHISHING AND FRAUDSTERS There continue to be reports from around the diocese of people receiving messages and emails across a variety of platforms primarily claiming to be from Archbishop Skelton. Please share the information broadly about this with your parishes and instruct your communities to be aware, and look carefully at the content of the message (Is it requesting that the receiver make contact because the sender is currently busy? Does it request immediate action? These are common ploys.). Look very closely at the email address or phone number generating the message and please DO NOT OPEN or CLICK THROUGH.
St. Andrew’s Office
The office is still closed to the public, and we are continuing to suspending the use of the building for all activities and rentals. The office staff are only working part time in the office so please email standrewslangley@shaw.ca, instead of phoning for church business as the phone will only be checked occasionally.
Note: Joanie’s work hours have changed - they are now Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 9am to 1pm.
Please continue to check in with one another over this time, especially with those who you know don't use email. If necessary, call Andrew’s cell at 778-999-9153.
Online Sunday Worship and Sermons

We will be continuing online using the Zoom website for our 10am Sunday Worship.

Beginning July 5 the 8am BCP service will be in the church. For this service, we will allow up 30 people including the clergy and worship leaders in the church. This is to maintain social distancing inside the building. (Please refer to Vicar’s letter for more details on Covid-19 safety protocols)

Bible Studies have stopped for the Summer and will resume in September.
If you wish to continue to donate to St. Andrew’s during this time, you can do so utilizing our PAD (Pre-Authorized Debit) option. Once a month, on or after the 12th, we submit to RBC our PAD file to automatically debit from your bank account. If the 12th falls on a weekend or statutory holiday, we process the file the next bank business day. To begin this process, call Carl Markwart at 604-575-3068 to provide your name and banking information. Three bank details are needed (usually taken from the bottom of a void cheque) – your bank’s transit number, bank number and your personal bank account number.
Alternatively, you can drop off your weekly envelopes through the church’s mail slot or mail your donation to St. Andrew’s 20955 Old Yale Rd, Langley City BC V3A 7P8.
There is also the option of e-transfer. You can just send it to the church’s email, standrewslangley@shaw.ca, and it will be sent to our Treasurer.

Our church building is closed, and our baskets remain empty. We invite people to still give money to Sources Langley Food Bank: https://sourcesfoundation.ca/give

A little giggle to make you smile…thank you JoAnn Bertness!
A little boy opened the big family Bible. He was fascinated as he
flipped through the old pages. Suddenly, something fell out of the Bible. He picked up the object and looked at it. What he saw was an old leaf that had been pressed in between the pages. 'Mama, look what I found,' the boy called out. 'What have you got there, dear?' With astonishment in the young boy's voice, he answered, 'I think it's Adam's underwear!'
