Newsletter: Season of Creation

We’re in the final days of summer break and eager to begin the Season of Creation with you! In case you missed last week’s update or haven’t updated your calendars yet, please read below for dates that you won’t want to miss…

ALL singers are welcomed to join us for weekly choir rehearsals, starting on a different weekday this year: Thursday, September 5th at 7pm.

On September 8th, after the 10am service, we will be having a Start up Sunday Potluck lunch! We look forward to gathering and sharing a meal together - please add your dish/potluck items to the sign-up sheet at the office. Bible Study starts up that week, on Tuesday, September 10th at 7pm, and will continue via Zoom.

We excited to have an additional Care Home Service happening on Tuesday, September 17th (2pm) at Chartwell, Langley Gardens - hope you’ll join us!

Later in September, please note that The Ven. Andrew Halladay will be away on September 22nd with The Rev. Peter Smyth presiding. The following weekend, we will have a full weekend of spirituality and food! Save the Date for a Retreat : Everyday Reconciliation followed by Evening Prayer on Saturday, September 28th, from 1:30pm and 4pm. At our 10am service on Sunday, September 29th, we will have a Picnic Eucharist - there will be much to share and ponder!

To sign up for any volunteer opportunities (hint: garden clean up) or potluck/picnic lunches, please be sure to check at the office on your way in.

What’s on weekly…

Please join us for Thursday Healing Eucharist at 11am, if you are in need of healing prayers for yourself or someone you love.

Bible Study via Zoom restarts on Tuesday, September 10th at 7pm.
